I learned a lot from him, he was a great teacher.
Our Life
I followed him from Idaho to Illinois, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Alaska. He died on Adak Island but he had returned to where he wanted to be–the Bering Sea. As the saying goes, “go West young man,” and Adak was as far West as one can live in America without a security clearance.
